My Brisket is sticking to the paper, what am I doing wrong?

Smoking brisket can be tricky due to various techniques. Trim fat, preheat smoker, maintain consistent temperature, and cook to 200°F for best results. Rest in a cooler or microwave for an hour. Explore different methods online; mastering smoking is an ongoing journey. Keep trying and good luck!

Is the butcher paper treated with quilon?

Our paper is uncoated and contains no quilon.

What is your butcher paper made out of?

All of our butcher paper is made of durable 40# weight Georgia Pacific paper with superior wet and hold strength, perfect for smoking and storing meat.

Is there a difference between your pink and brown Kraft butcher papers?

Both rolls are crafted from the same high-quality paper. The pink paper has added coloring, which some customers find appealing for basket liners, while others believe it helps meat with moisture appear less like blood during storage.

Is this paper safe for pets?

Yes, our paper is produced in an FDA approved facility and definitely approved for birdcages. We have actually had several customers reach out to us to tell us how well it works for their birdcages.

Can this Kraft paper be used for wrapping packages for mail delivery?

Our kraft paper is made up of different materials but you can certainly use it to wrap packages.

I would not recommend using our kraft paper to smoke or store meat though. Use Our Premium Butcher Paper For Grilling!

Can this Kraft paper be used for tracing & making sewing patterns?

Yes! Our kraft paper works great for tracing and sewing patterns.

How thick is this paper?

Our kraft paper is .004” thick.

Is your kraft paper acid-free?

Acid-free papers have a neutral pH level above 7. Our newsprint has a pH level between 5.8 to 6.0, which is very close to neutral but not quite acid-free.

What mediums can I use on this paper?

Our Kraft paper works with many different materials: acrylic and oil paints, chalk, crayon, markers, felt pens, finger painting, watercolor, tempera, and more!

Is this true newsprint?

Our packing paper is newsprint paper without the ink.

Is your kraft paper acid-free?

Acid-free papers have a neutral pH level above 7. Our newsprint has a pH level between 5.8 to 6.0, which is very close to neutral but not quite acid-free.

Can I use this packing paper for my bird cage lining?

Absolutely! You can use the packing paper for your bird cage.
